Pyrite in quartz. Unless you found gold.

It could very well be a little chunk of Gold it's the right type of rock (quartz) a lot of rock is pulled from rivers and used for driveway fill and they are more interested in the rock than looking close at it for the different minerals that are in the rocks.It would make for a good specimen for a collection if that is what it is.

Taz and Back.. thanks for your info and comments. I have never found gold on my property(from what Ive researched, my area is not a "gold rich location", but theres always a chance right?). Trust me I am looking for the gold for sure in things that I pull out.. I definitely see the quartz. Up close there are very clear pieces, and milky white sections as well. As for the gold colored fleck I believe it is Pyrite for sure.
