a mystery find

I found this in the same creek where I found the banded slate bar weight. It is not a finished product and made from a solid kind of rock. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be?
the last two pictures show the view from the bottom and the top of the rock. It was found in western Ky area in Christian County.

What he said. How could you not pick it up and wonder? Nice spot though.
 

you know that's just what I was thinkin. I didn't know if it was something that was started and abandoned or what. I knew the rock was not the right kind of material for an arrowhead to be made of. thought it was kinda cool though.....
