We were out yard sale plundering yesterday and found a few great finds. A pair of bird lithograph prints hand colored -$7.00. An antique theorem watercolor on velvet-$4.00. A necklace with an old piece of broken china -$1.00. A beautiful set of sugar/creamer with sterling base-$2.00. An antique milking stool-$4.00. Last but not least, a really nice early American pine chest for-$10.00!! We were the first ones at this sale and she had $20 on it. I was looking at it ( and loving it) and she kept saying if you don't like the price, just shoot me a number. So being the frugal pirate that I am, I say " how about $10". She says sold! It's a beautiful piece with great hardware and patina and I had to have it.
So we get back home and I do my usual cleaning of items (if needed) and bring the chest up to the living room just temporarily. I take off to run to the store and when I return home I put my cell phone in my pocket. As I always do. But I must not have turned if off because one of my apps goes on. Now I have several apps and it could have been any of them. But it was my ghost hunter app. I get up stairs to my living room and the app is just going nuts!! It's telling me I have an entity right in front of me where the chest is! Then it blurts out the word "Alfred"!! I kid you not!! My wife says " is that your name?" It then say "smart"!! [emoji317] Go figure. It was a great Y/S day!!
