Hi all... I've been working on a multicomponent site for the last several years. The site has a history ranging from historic-era Native American to modern railroads. For that reason it's hard to figure out what finds correspond to which eras. Here are some pictures... If you have any guesses, please let me know.
First off, I found dozens of short pieces of copper wire in varying gauges. (My guess: railroad or telegraph related)
I found dozens of small blobs of melted metal, mostly some lead/pewter alloy, plus some brass/copper alloy. (My guess: railroad or colonial blacksmith?)
I found very crude iron "tools" such as chisels and awls (My guess: Improvised tools made from scrap European metal by Native Americans, ca. 1700)
I found cut copper/brass sheet metal (My guess: Mostly Native American salvaging brass kettles, ca. 1700)
If you can think of other/better guesses, I'd be interested to hear them. Thanks!

Looks like a sheet metal workers scrap including the solder blobs.

In pic 4 there are several tools. I used to use ones similar that were 3 sided. Its called a deburr knife, used to clean up the edges of metal.
