.29 caliber 3 ringer? Solid base with a small lip. Appears to have been fired. .69 caliber for scale.

You actually mic'd it to 0.290"?

I would guess pistol bullet but 7.62mm in lead would be unique.

0.310" to 0.313" would be common to the various ".32 caliber" pistols.

There were 7.5mm Schmidt M1882 and M1887 revolvers (0.295" bullet) based on a Nagant design. Darned if it doesn't look close to yours!

I just pulled more measurments using a second set of calipers. Got .29 again (just a touch over 7mm). Thanks for the info, Charlie! Is it possible that firing it would be effecting the true caliber?
