A military pin?

I found this last weekend and kind of forgot about it I'm not really sure what it is? it's Sterling and gold filled. But where would something like this go on a hat or something? And what is it called? Thanks.

It's a lapel pin. I think it might be for an academy like west point or other military college. I can't enlarge it does it say anything as far as branch of military. Or even what company made the pin?

No the only thing it says on the back of it is champion.

It looks like a volleyball championship from a private school. The eagle on top looks to be part of a school crest.

I think it is an award from the President's Challenge for volleyball.
