A Merc and 2 Wheaties

I hunted in a trashy area today and dug a lot of iffy signals.
I was rewarded with this 1919Mercury dime, 1918 and 1929 Wheaties and a flattened bullet. I had to dig through about an inch or two of frost in some areas. I think my new years resolution will be to dig more iffy signals. Good hunting to all.

Thanks to all. I got a Nikon coolpix L4 for Christmas. It takes a pretty good closeup in Macro mode.
It is about the size of a deck of cards and fits in my shirt pocket. I got lucky again today and will post pics later.

There's something so cool about finding a mercury dime. It validates the whole hunt and the whole day. (for me at least).

I can only imagine the rush of a draped bust coin or the large cents these guys are finding.
