I was looking at some of my listings last night and saw this ring that have been online for months. If not the whole year. I had it listed for $106 by now or best offer. I marked everything down 15% so it was down to $90. Last night I decided I would mark it down to $25 and get rid of it but I forgot to do it. I came home tonight and the ring, it sold for $90! Sterling silver with the a purple stone in it.

I can't say I'm surprised it didn't sell for $106.. Whats surprising is that it did sell for $90, your persistence paid off! Tho I think $90 for that ring is just crazy! How much does it weigh? Like 5 grams? And whats that "purple" stone worth? I bet not much! I'd say you made out like a bandit getting $90 out of it!

Funny story, Beachkid.

We've been flea marketing for many years, and every once in a while, we need to 'trash out' the booths. This means we take all the junk in the booth that hasn't sold and trash it, recycle it, or donate it.

It never fails: Any time we say: "Next time we are here, I am trashing the tea pots, those dishes, and that fabric"...and I kid you not, without fail, even though it has been sitting in the booth for 6 months, someone will come and buy it before we get back to trash it out.

This has happened time and time again.

Yeah 5 g at most. And the stone is called Jersey cortz? At least that's what the lady told me so I guess that something they've been looking for! I think the designer that made it their name has something to do with the higher price on it too.

Druzy Quartz.

Not surprising at all to me. This is what I have been talking about. Just let it ride and it will eventually sell. Have enough things on eBay at any given time that you won't mind relisting and not selling for a while. Before I went back to work I kept 100-150 items going all the time. The hotter stuff would sell quick and other stuff in months or sometimes many months. Relisting cost nothing or next to nothing and it takes like 1 minute to relist 30 items in bulk relister. I was selling 10-20 items a week making 1500-3000 a month depending on how hard I worked. Which was usually about 10-20 hours a week.
