i got up early this morning determined to go hunting. its been two weeks since Ive been out, and longer than that since i found any old coins. some of you may remember my "sneaky spot" where i found a bunch of large cents, buffalo and V nickels and a few silvers at. well today i decided to head back up there even though i am pretty much done with it at this point, and dug a lot of those iffy kind of signals. this place is starting to become a barren wasteland as far as tight signals go. not even very many pull tabs and pieces of foil left. in about three hours i had found another small 1850sish navy button ( the second at this site except that todays is very very small), some sort of tool or key tag, and this lone Indian cent. too bad the soil didn't leave a date on it. i really need to start looking for different places to hunt, but at least i was able to find a couple of interesting things today.thanks for looking.

At least you got out!! Don't want to get too rusty!!! A no date Indian is better then a no Indian.... I'm still hunting for my first... Way to go!!

Good job Keith. Not often you dig IH's! Hope to see you next week!

Nice finds, a hunted out site always has one or two things in it.

Keep @ it and HH!!

Nice job on the Indian Head penny! When it comes to looking for places to hunt check out local libraries and order books. I want to hunt some ghost towns in my state So I checked out Ghost towns of the Pacific Northwest. I am sure you will find a great spot near or in your city!
