I got out this morning and found a few items of interest. Nothing of any real value I do not think, but it was fun to see shiny things in the sand.
The top ring rang out at 49. I assume it is a toe ring of some sort.
The middle ring rang out at 56. Gold plated. The inside shows wear and it is not gold in the middle. Still a great shiny piece in the sand.
The bottom ring rang out at 71. I'm not sure about this one. Tungsten maybe?
25 cents in clad, a hair pin that rang out like crazy at 10 inches deep with a VDI of 25. I was just curious on this one. I typically don't dig iron. Still unbelievable how hard it rang out. A bolt, a piece of zipper (Not sure I want to know how that got broken), a lead weight and a house key. I am sure someone is bummed about losing that.
All in all a great morning and my first ever ring find. (though I doubt any of it is worth anything.0 Now for the coffee...
