I’m back! I was out of the country and have not had a chance to detect for the past 3 weeks. I am reallly glad to be back at it.
Went to a beach and swimming area today in a park. We have had a lot of rain so the water was high and so there is a lot of area that was too deep to get to. When it dries out and the water goes down there should be more goodies. I really love my cz21 for most detecting, but for the swimming areas and the smaller pieces of jewelry the ATpro does the job. So with the AT set at pro zero with iron audio on at 30 I went swingin. I spent 4 hours doing the beach and water. There were a few people that came to swim and sun while I was there, but for the most part they set up in areas I had already done so I had a clear field to detect.
I found 28 coins with a value on $2.66 not great but I have sure done worse. The usual assortment of junk, foil, tabs, 2 sinkers and some costume jewelry.
In addition I got a broken butterfly bracelet marked, a crown earring and a thin broken chain all marked 925. Also a small hoop earring plated in 10k marked 925 1/20 mom Jordan.
I did find 3 rings, none of them great, but a ring is a ring. A small kidddy toe ring, a large stainless ring tinted blue on the inside and marked Love Only You, and another stainless ring with a crown on the outside and His Queen on the inside.
All in all an interesting day with a few more goodies for the pile. Thanks for looking and may your coil find good things.
