Spied another park while out shopping with the wife on Monday so I headed back there yesterday after lunch. The grass areas seemed to be pretty cleaned out and I was unable to find an area that had been missed. There's a volleyball court there, but those are usually the first places to get hit by detectorists. Even so, I almost always tend to find a little something in them if I go real slow in Goldfield mode.
Sure enough, I was able to get some very deep clad, a toy tractor, 2 earrings and a little ring out of there. One of the earrings is 925 and the other junk. I thought the ring was silver, but surprised to see the 14k gold marking when I got it home. It was just visible sticking out of the sand when I knelt down to pinpoint it (It's just above the pebble in the pic).
