Hello Diggers-

My buddy and I got out yesterday to one of two favorite spots we have been digging in he western part of Virginia that has yielded a lot of lead in the past, but no large cents as of yet. Well yesterday was the exception. The signal was a solid mid 50 low 60 on m F75 LTD at about 6 inches. And although the face is toast, you can read the 1807 below, which is my earliest Large Cent for the Coronet variety and my first large cent for 2013.

Another unusual find was the cracker jack token which I believe is circa 1933-1934 time frame, what in the world was this doing amongst all the civil war relics LOL.

Nice finds! Digging flat buttons never get old (to me). I just think, someone wore this at one time, what's the story behind it? It's history. Glad you saved some if it. Nice lead too!
