My buddies and I got out again today to the site in Virginia that continues to amaze us all. Although today was not a earth shattering day regarding finds, any day getting out in a gorgious high seventy degree day in October is a blessing in itself.
I ended the day with:
2 .58 caliber drops
1 fired .54 caliber
1 .30/.31 fired pistol bullet
1 Williams Cleaner
1 dropped Enfiled, British origin
3 fired Enfiled
1 round piece of iron canister shot
1 Jacket General Service Button
1 part of cross swords regalia for a kepi
The finds are out there, but you got to dig a lot of junk, and shot gun shells to get the good stuff we are all after.
