Maybe this will help someone that is just starting out and maybe answer something for someone else.View attachment 911469View attachment 911472View attachment 911474This is JMO knifes were used mostly by the women for work and they where not very big blades. Your nice blades where used by the men for battle and for show, you just would not put a lot of work in a blade and use it to cut up a deer. I have said before all you need to skin and 1/4 a deer or what ever would be a nice flake and if it broke you just nocked another off a spall an went back to work. The center page shows where the blunts come from as some people call them, they where just hafted scrapers. Only a trained eye will spot wear on tools such has flake tools, wear sometimes shows up has a polish in small areas, just because they took some flakes off of them does not mean wear, but if they took time to flake an edge on a tool or a flake they had a special use for it in mind. JMO
