Made of white metal, it appears to have been cut from larger medal.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks 20190630_105100.jpg

No idea but looks Germanic to me. Gary

Yeah to me too. A Ordenspange or part of it. Problem is before 1918 each and every German state had its own orders and since Germans love decorations, they had lots of it. Working 10 years fort he state postal service or the railway -> Bronze Service cross, 15 ys Silver and and and.

according to here, page 7,

file:///C:/Users/d704768/Downloads/Virtueller_Katalog%20(1).pdf

its a Spange for the Bavarian Military Service Cross, third class in the 1913 form.

Family heirloom? If so be blessed my bavarian brother!

Yours is very typical of British badges and pins, it might take some time to nail it down since the British military has a very, very long history and they literally spanned the globe. That pin could denote service in India, Africa, Australia, Canada, etc etc.

Yeah namxat and Todds Point, Just look at the Nazi mother's cross.

One of the things that make me wonder is the Rhodium plating. The East Indians used that a lot to imitate silver, even in their jewelry.

WWI Prince Alfons Bavarian Rifle Medal. There seem to be different versions and colors, so I have no idea of the significance.
