I found this yesterday in a park in San Pedro CA. I was told it was a Spanish Reale, but I cannot find an image online that is the same as this one. On the obverse side towards the top of his head, I can read the letters D.G. On the reverse is a crown over a coat of arms. It is super thin. Any ideas?

Thanks, Rod

that my friend is George III ...British coin, perhaps even from the American revolution area....the "DG" means "by the grace of god"

I don't think its an exact coin match. The neck line just doesn't seem to match.
