Well this is some that I dug this Fri. I hope someone can tell me if the one my be a mouthpiece. The shield my be Infantry, still need to get it clean.

Got the button clean, no I just a shield. It has a push in but it looks good. Still need help on the mouthpiece? That's what it looks like. Here are some pics . Thanks for the help. HH..

Got2dig what's the piece by the ring? I have found two of those and don't remember what they are? I had id'd them at one time but have lost what they are.
 

Got2dig....I think your piece in question is actually the brass end to a garden hose. The piece next to the brass ring is off of a musical instrument such as an accordion. It is a reed piece.

The reed is right, but the piece of brass is not a garden hose fitting. It's to thin, I have dug part of a bugle and this looks to be as thick. And to small for a garden hose. It looks to be turned brass. It may be one of them we never know. :icon_scratch:
