Last year down here on the Gold Coast Surfers Paradise Queensland Australia we hade a one in twenty year rare event of up to 20 feet erosion the beach sand just disappeared.
Most of this actually happened over night as I found out stepping off into mid air at 2 in the morning falling some 17 feet sand scoop in one hand and Excalibur11 in the other(Adrenaline was pumping so not hurt) actually took me half an hour to dig steps so I could get back off the beach.
Here's some photos a couple of days later and the results of one of my hunts walked away that day with Gold and Silver.
