I find a few hixton sugar quartz pieces from time to time.
Unfortunately, most are broken... I’m appx. 50 miles from the source. 753E2CF2-C0E9-4D2C-95F0-0D4382F73F52.jpeg

Corona boxes full of bubble wrapped artifacts will always be my favorite pandemic.

That’s some purdy stuff. When I was working in Tampa in the eighties there were about twenty Cuban cigar factories, now I think there’s one, maybe two...Cuban coffee (you can stand a spoon straight up in it, pure caffeine ) Cuban bread, and Cuban cigars, black beans and yellow rice...Mmmm, them was the day’s, Lol.

I've chipped Hixton. Very difficult to work. It sure looks nice though when you finish a good one. Gary

Here’s a few Hixton pieces I’ve acquired for my States Collection. The group is from Wisconsin and the Dovetail is from Illinois.
