2 Cellar holes tucked away in the woods with what once was a bridge on the wagon trail between them. Very large area to cover with some very cool landscape. One full day there produced some interesting finds. The thick square buckle seems to have had a locking mechanism, some sort of rod inside would lock the tongue in place,...odd. I did manage a nice 1854 largie. an 1888 indian that looks like a horse was chewing on it and a couple of wheats. A nice brass stopper, and a pewter lady holding a basket, probably part of a lamp. A few other old buckles and what looks to be the handle from a kids toy gun. I hope to pull some silver out of there on my return trip.
