Man! That is SWEET! Did not realize what a nice design the Canadian 1/2 penny was. Both sides.

I always wonder who had that coin and what hands it has been through when I see such a find. That's part of the wonder of metal detecting. Great find! JIM

nice find - it just go to prove theres always an exception to every rule 2" lose soil - man i could dig that all day - coins would be flying out of that stuff - like when you detect mulch areas - LBP
 

Does that say 1812? If so can't be many of those around, if so check to see the value of it.
