A Joy to Find!

Found this Canadian copper "HALF PENNY TOKEN" in 2" of loose soil ... what a great feeling to find it.

nice find - it just go to prove theres always an exception to every rule 2" lose soil - man i could dig that all day - coins would be flying out of that stuff - like when you detect mulch areas - LBP

Does that say 1812? If so can't be many of those around, if so check to see the value of it.

It does indeed say 1812 ... thats why i stopped breathing when i unearthed it... I can't locate a possible value yet but I did find a link to some information about this "token" from Canada... http://collections.ic.gc.ca/bank/english/edec78.htm
