My father and I had a signal in the woods that I thought was another can, it turned out to be our first find of the jewelry cache - a 1950's sterling silver eagle scout ring. As we searched the area some more we started getting signals everywhere and could use the pinpointer to find some of the jewelry on the surface - or close to it. As the hunt went on we started digging out the area and I found a wallet. The wallet had one business card with details that will remain private - but it hopefully contains the owners name and address. If it turns out the be the owner, the items will be returned.
A lighter that reads "Haru-Yo" (I believe), searched for it online with no results:
A number of religious pendants, pins, and other small items:
A number of small chains that were previously tangled with the pendants:
Two religious pendants still attached to their chain:
A Sterling Silver Eagle Scout Ring c. 1950:
Most of the better items found:
HH & GL
