A hunt FULL of firsts. My first post here in Today's finds too.
First hunt of 2012. First hunt with my E-trac. I also found a coin with three firsts in one! I used Buckeyehunters coin pattern with in Auto+3 and deep off and fast on. The place I went was my friends house that was built in 1903 and I have pulled 5 wheat out of the back and 1 from the front. I wanted to see how well I did with the ACE250 and hit it with my E-Trac since I knew people had been dropping change in the back yard. I had just 45 minutes to do the hunt so I got right to it. The first target that sounded good was a 75' Canadian penny and I was extatic that all the videos and reading I had done helped soooo much. I kept at it and dug up 3 more coins a bunch of aluminum. This thing is HARD to fool. I only had one nail and a roofing tack fool it. Other than that it was spot on with the non-ferrous targets. So happy with this machine.
Total for hunt:
70' Jefferson
75' Canuck Penny
62' Memorial
and 1911 Barber Dime.
It is my first silver, first barber, and first century old coin!!!
Thanks for looking,
Vez
Time stamp is wrong. It is wife's camera and I don't know how to change it. My cheapo camera has better macro and is what I used for these photos.
