produces some silver and wheats. LI TOM definately beat me at the wheat harvest. They were coming in those numbers and depths where you just know there's more where that came from. Both of us kept busy digging. It was a small park over a year ago when I didn't even own a detector, but it felt mighty big today looking at all the turf left to cover. There are a few areas with some really nice black original dirt that is nice and easy to dig into, and this is where we concentrated our efforts. We're convinced it hasn't been hit, and if so, in a minimal way. I think it'll be on our list for next weekend. The Merc came out from a depth of 1". Grabbed the top of the plug and it was already in my hand. I'm a clad freak, so I'll dig a coin at any depth most of the time, especially if the soil is easy to get into. This time I was inspired by the Explorer's cross-hairs wanting to get out the top of the screen though The Quarter was sitting down at 4", two inches below a penny. It was a mixed signal, but once the penny was out of the way, it got better. After the merc, I was willing to dig anything and that is how the quarter came about, otherwise, I might've ignored it.
