Hey guys! I am new on this site, and hopefully you guys possess the knowledge to help me out...

So I found this artifact probably 6 years ago in a deep river ravine. Well I thought it looked like a skull so I have held onto it for this long. I have taken it to a local rock shop and he was saying that the grey squiggly lines were probably a bacterial of some sort that was fossilized with the rest of it. I know I am among a community of treasure hunters here and I hope to hear that this was a one of a kind find, but if not, then it sure is cool! The photos are of the, in order, right side, back, left side, front. IMG_4933.JPGIMG_4934.JPGIMG_4935.JPGIMG_4936.JPG

Just a rock, mother natures forms trillions of shapes..

If it has the weight to be solid, then it can't be a skull, cause they are hollow. I go with rock also.

Probably had some crystalline structure and rolling in the river or floods wore those structures down and you are left with the squiggly lines and nodules. If you had found before the erosion occurred it was an awesome specimen maybe you could get it sliced it could be polished and would look great on a mantle. It might be marble is marble common around you?

I was thinking it might be conglomerate with river wear.
