Been watching a house here for months, seemed abandoned but every so often seen activity. Well today I noticed it boarded up. YES!!! House was built early 1900's so I knew I had a lot to work with and boy was I right, a lot of trash but great finds also. Still think I have a lot to find, most of the finds was from the backyard, thought I would start there in case I cant get back there again, found a V nickel, Merc dime and my first steel cent, but my fav was the 1926 dog tag. Also need help identifying a chinese coin? Also a badge of early auto with a comet flying over head, any ideas what this is? Hated leaving but also been watching a sidewalk tearout, didnt want to come back and see it concreted over, it also paid off, found silver quarter and 2 merc dimes, a flat button, brass or copper ring. Going back to house soon to search front, wish me luck.

cool stuff indeed. I believe the thing with the car is an old automotive motif watch fob without any particular meaning. looked around the net to find info on the chinese coin thing, and it is evidently not a coin but some sort of amulet. someone else here dug one a few years back, and the replies have some speculative information... http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/what/75297-coin-triangle-center-updated-pics.html

Those things could make a nice framed display. Hope it keeps paying off for you!
