Hi, new guy here!
Just recently found out about magnet fishing from watching YouTube videos and I'm hooked, so to speak.
I haven't even done it once yet, have been waiting for a magnet and now that it's arrived I'm set to start the adventure. Until then, I'd share a tip in case it's helpful to anyone. It's probably already been done, but anyway, here's something I did to keep the line under control. I used to have a sailboat and just hate tangles.
This was an extension cord - removed the cable and outlets, added a big washer on the back which keeps the magnet in place inside. Don't know yet if this is good, will find out soon.
