Around the first of April I found a nice engraved dog's tag while hunting a swimming area. It had a name and phone number on it. I called them to see if they would like me to send it back to them. They were very fond of "Lucky" their dog and was happy that I offered to send the tag back to them. I found this letter in my mail box today and it brought tears of joy to read it.

Here's a pic of the tag I found.

Have a great night you all.

That is a great story! I'm sure it did move you a bit. Losing a pet is like losing a family member to us and I know something like that would bring back a lot of fond memories.

I like my pets more than most people. You did good, real good. The Detecting Gods are pleased.

A jewel in your crown that is better than silver or gold.

Nicely done.

Oh, this is such a heart touching post. I'm misty eyed as I type this. Thanks, you have a heart of gold.

 RR

was it just lucky's chain / tag that was lost or was lucky "lost" at that time as well ?

It was just the tag that was lost. They had taken Lucky to play in the water because he loved the water so much.
