Folks,
Someone gave me a five gallon bucket of old utensils. Unfortunately, he left the bucket outside in the elements and there were some ferrous utensils mixed in so everything has a rusty coat on it. But I literally have hundreds of utensils, most of them silver plated nickel and stainless steel. I started cleaning some of them up and some of them say, "1847 Rogers Bros" and "B.T. Jarecki 12" and "1881 Rogers Stainless." Many are ornate and I can already tell there are some full sets of 4, 8 or 12.
Any suggestions on cleaning them and what to look for if any of them are valuable?
