A Halloween Treat - Spanish silver!

Today was a beautiful day, and after a few days of rain the ground conditions were perfect. I went out to a local schoolyard for a quick hunt, and it felt like the coins were just singing to me. I was steadily finding clad, but then I got a real Halloween treat: I'm fairly sure I found a super-smooth Spanish silver half reale. It's the oldest find by far I've made at this site.

The coin is very worn, but on the obverse I can definitely see "HISPAN" on the rim and the outline of the crest. Unfortunately the date isn't readable, but I'm still very happy with this find!
