Today my 12 yr. old grandson, a friend (cliff flynn), and I walked 2 large tobacco fields that had been planted 2 days ago, disced, and then had 2 inches of rain on them yesterday. We were the first to hunt them today, ( 2 other people showed up as we were leaving). Best day we have had in a couple of years. Best day ever for my grandson. Someone was yelling "got one" every 10 to 15 minutes.First birdies for me in two years. Grandson found 2 nice hafted scrapers along with lots of other things. First pic with 3 birdies at top is mine, second with hafted scrapers is grandsons, third is cliff finds on truck tailgate. Going back tomorrow.

Man you guys cleaned up...nice haul all around. Always like seeing those sweet Ky. materials. I see some Sonora, Boyle, and some fossilized cherts, great stuff. Those two hafted pieces are nice.

That was a great hunt Sonny. Congrats. I like the redish ones, do you know what material they are? I always associate red with jasper...
Good luck with your next hunt, your collection is growing.
Well done..

Molly.
