Interesting article. More detectorists would be willing to give up their artifacts if they could receive some kind of reward for their hard labor. We certainly would find many more archeological sites than the archeologists themselves! I would be happy to locate artifacts and save photos for my memiors and then donatethe artifacts to a museum if I were given credit for the find when they go on display and just reimbursed enough to pay for my time and expenses. Archeology and THing could go hand in hand if the archeologists weren't such snots! JIM
