A good season of firsts!

It's been a good year given how little time I have to detect. Memorial Day weekend, went out with my niece for her first MD adventure and she found a silver ring. First silver for my AT. Next weekend, same park I got my first gold which happened to be my first gold ring.

Today, after a short honey-do list I bugged out to a permission that seems to be carpeted in nails of every imaginable variety. As I was walking out the door, honey, of the aforementioned to do list, put in the standard request for "just a tiny diamond in a 14K post for one of her ears....." She's got a couple of sparklers from an anniversary long past so I don't know why she wants a smaller one, but hey, who ever really knows what they think or why?

Well, as I skipped out the front door I told her I was going to finally find my first silver coin...and I did: A 1920 Merc! So my first dug silver coin is a worn,but not worn out Merc. Twas a good day!
