I have this small parking area near home at the head of a hiking trail --its been very good to me- and today I ckd it out and after several clads I got a solid 53 at 4"==I dug down thru the hard packed gravel and got this little silver ear ring // Quite impressed that the AT got this at that depth Perry

That seems low to me, my hits in the low 50's have been old shotgun caps, I probably have well over 30 by now and I know I've passed on digging a few, simply because I know the tone and style of the beep. Looks like Im going back to dig em' up.

the atpro is a very impressive machine in my opinion, and im not biased because i own one! nice find!

Sweet. Anytime you find silver your doing good!

me too khamsley! I have one of the aces right now and i'm saving for the at pro!

also nice find perry! sounds like the machine is serving you well!

I hunt fields all the time and the AT is so sensitive that it will pick up a pulltab at 10 inches or a .22 cal casing deeper then that. All depends on the sensitivity.
