I spent 6 hours swingin the CZ21 at the scout camp last week and found 197 coins with a face value of $19.26, 137 camp tent pegs, fishing sinkers, 2 rope tensioners, 2 current style neckerchief slides, an NRA pin from 2017, a silver dime, some Canadian coins, a Kennedy half and 2 game piece can tabs.

The Canadian quarter and dime are newer and are magnetic. They were. In a hole with a clad quarter. It made an interesting signal so I had to dig it, when in doubt, dig it out

The silver dime is a youngster, 1964. There is not a lot of silver here because the camp is only 40 years old. The Kennedy half is a 1972. Not many Kennedy halves are in circulation around here so it is an unusual find these days.

It was a day with a lot of targets, good gas money and a nice variety of finds. Twice as many tent pegs as usual, about twice the face value of the coins, 2 slides and the coin count was better too. With the silver that makes for a great day.

The water hunt at the local park was ok (I didn’t get skunked), but no good jewelry so not what I expect for this time of year in this park. I spent 3.5 hour swingin the ATPro. I ended up with 22 coins with a face value of $1.70, 2 more toy cars, some junk jewelry, a retainer from a selfie stick, a sinker, a 13mm socket, a bead, an earring back and a debit card. I spotted the red corner of the debit card in about 4 feet of water and scooped it up. I called the company and told them it was found and shredded it as instructed. The lady on the phone seemed very grateful I had called to make the report.

Not my worst hunt, with a nice variety of finds, just a little disappointing in the jewelry department. Thanks for looking, stay safe and may your coil lead you to good things.

That is some serious digging. Seems lots of scouts have holes in their pockets. Congrats!
