Last weekend I went to the Gold & Treasure Show in Salem Oregon, while there I met the auther of a book I had read awhile back that I just could not put down until I finished it. The book is called Mi Vida Oro Grande by Miles J. Mitchell Exploration Geologist. I am not much of a reader but this one had me hooked all the way to the end. When I talked with Miles I believe he said he was in his late 90s and he had been mining since the 40s. The reason he was at the gold show was the water was to high for him to work the claim he has been working "WOW" I hope I can make it that far and be in as good as shape as he is.

I'm always looking for good books to add to my "gold books". Is it non-fiction, how to, or what? BTW: I consider two publications MUST reading for gold prospectors... Fists Full of Gold, Ralph.... and Follow the drywashers- nuggetshooter's Bible, Straight. TTC
