Hello to everyone. I hope you all are getting out and pulling in some nice treasures in the improved spring weather!
It was the nicest day of the year so far here in Michigan yesterday so I started early and hit a couple schoolyards 20 miles away. One was really good, the other not so but in the end, it was a fantastic day out there, filled with a lot of digging and tons of good finds.
In the 5 hours hunting time, my clad count was pretty high. $12.90 with 168 coins, lots of quarters which is always nice. I managed a nice assortment of trinket jewelry and another elongated penny, my 4th in the past few trips out.
Best of all, some nice keepers.
My first was a 925 chain bracelet, pretty nice. Then a little silver heart pendant.
Then a sweet 10kt gold cross that has a faceted garnet stone in it.
Finally and best of all, a huge 416 (10kt) white gold ring with a nice garnet also.
Garnet is my birthstone so these finds are pretty cool and the ring also fits my pinky.
I am a bit sore today so I may take the day off and work out in the yard instead. My back is aching a little from all the bending over as my MD'ing muscles are still not "in season".
