the area I am hunting game in many fields and pastures belong to one farmer. He's a friendly guy and told me to hunt (with MD) a certain pasture where he was told that there was some building on in the past. So I went and found a 10 Reichspfennig 1936, a 10 Reichspfennig 1922 and a 2 Pfennig 1950. When I returned they let the cows run the pasture and I had to leave. Yesterday I returned and the cows had left so I could hunt it again. Concentrating on the lower part which I had not checked before......nothing! Returning to the upper part again in an area 20 by 20 feet I found another 10 Reichspfennig 1921, a 1/2 STUBER 17xx (still taking a bath in olive oil maybe it will clean up) a lead seal, a small buckle and SILVER. 1 Silbergroschen 1863. So there must have been people at least from 17xx until 1950ies. No foundation or anything else giving evidence of a building left. I'll go back as I think there is more......

Those coins don't look too bad, as cows normally destroy finds...

Great Finds! :occasion14:

Very nice! Congratulations!

The farmers here are the same, we take out the rocks and metal that will damage their equipment and usually get more permission where old home sites were that they farm through once they see what we remove.

Horst,

Definitely a nice hunt, very nice details on the silbergroschen. Always nice when the farmer provides additional details which are not evident when looking at the site. Good luck with your hunts. Walt
