A first!!!

I can't believe it! I found gold! So I decided to metal detect my front lawn to get a little more practice. At first I found a penny and a mini GI Joe grenade, and then a quarter.... and then.... I get a funky signal that jumped between foil and a pull tab and whadayaknow? I found my mom's lost gold ring! Yay! My mom was very happy that I found it, and I think she's a little more happy about me metal detecting!

I have a small gold charm lost somewhere in my front yard and can't find it for the life of me. But I have found several dollars worth of clad and some of my grown kid's childhood toys while looking for it. My sister-in-law says she lost the charm in my front yard, but she is crazier than I am so who knows where she lost it? Glad you found Mom's ring. Monty
