So I started a new job so it's harder for me to get out to sales so I decided to buy a estate The price was too good to pass not many items left after the family took what they wanted here is a couple items that I have found that will pay for more than half of what I've purchased at scrap prices what would be a good starting price for not scrapping it the first two pictures in the third picture is something I picked up a few months ago I've only found a couple examples that are in the $500 range that sound good or overpriced thank you for looking ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1466030127.478307.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1466030148.154963.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1466030161.779733.jpg The two sets a cufflinks or 18 karat gold only marked with the number 18 but I have tested themImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1466030214.371778.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1466030227.345947.jpg this one is 10k marked 10K the one I've seen prices for around $500

I never had the opportunity to buy an estate. If I did it would have be an old estate with a lot of "junk". Older folks stuff is not old to them and they had it so long it is junk to them.

Did you figure out what the pennants insignia represent? Could mean a lot when it comes to price.

No luck yet on that still looking

Anyone know the flags on the cufflinks

I believe that is the burgee (flag of a boating organization) for the Royal Dorset Yacht Club, U.K., founded in 1875. From what I could find online, the flag design features "a red fimbriated blue cross on white, with a St. Edward's Crown on the cross." Here is a pic:

1stdibs website has burgee cufflinks similar in style to yours, albeit attributed to a famous family, hence the lofty asking price:

Well I can't find any gold cuffs from this yacht club all the ones I fine are just plain metal 30 $40 Cuffs so I'm going to shoot for the moon and see what happens

Well cheech, with the one year anniversary of this thread nearly upon us, I have to be nosy and ask if you ever got the cufflinks listed and what the result was? There is a strikingly similar pair on eBay right now where another seller is 'shooting for the moon' price wise, and there does seem to be some interest as their listing has 7 watchers.
