After 40 years of detecting I can finally cross one more off my bucket list. No, it's not the Confederate button I covet but it is a 1908O Barber dime. Found it and a 1935D Buffalo nickel tonight at a site I am hunting with a friend.

Congratulations on your first Barber dime! I still remember my first, which was a 1904 that was worn even slicker than yours.

Makes you feel good when you pull one out of the ground, doesn't it? Go get another!

Sweet old silver! :notworthy: I especially like it as 1908 was my dad's birth year. Also like the way your Buffalo aged. Andi

still haven't found my first but I'm guessing its close. Heck I Still haven't found a buff yet. Ha ha. Well good work looks like some nice coins HH.

Congrats! Love those Barbers!

Beautiful coins. I love old nickels and barbers are always kind on the eyes.

In all your 40 years of detecting, I am happy to be the friend witnessing the look on your face moments after you dug her up!! I've been thinking about it all day! Very Nice find! Priceless!

Rally nice coins you found. Love that buffalo. Still waiting to find mine, hope its not a long wait but if it is then it was meant to be :) lol

Congratulations !!
