Top of the day to ya'll,

First off I want to start by letting you all know that I really enjoy being able to see others out there finding good stuff and sharing the excitement with everybody. I dont post alot but I sure do look and enjoy!

This hobby really is a beautifull thing, and I do appreciate being able to venture with you through your posts! You guys and gals are awesome!

That said, I've been wondering on a few things lately that I have here.
I've researched what I could according to the historie(s) as to where I have found them. But none the less there are plenty that I'm just not able to put my finger on.
I'm out here in Utah to narrow things down for you. The oldest coin I've found is the 1837 seated liberty dime, the kepi button next to the token is probably my oldest. 1802 is what I've been told.??
So I'm full of questions here if you cant tell.. ;)

Well here we go.. The first pic here is the most part, if you recognize anything and dont mind, I would enjoy some feedback. There is a maze of whatzits in here.

The second is the snake here, cool little trinket I think.

The third is the 6 1/4 token, the other side has W&M in the center and is identical in design.

The fourth and fifth are embossed button coins, 1912 quarter and 1914 dime, I didnt find them swinging the loop but I sure cant find any information on them.

Once again, I enjoy being able to read your posts and sure do love the finds.

Happy Hunting to all of you, and thank you for reading.

Someone else posted a similar 3D coin. Theirs was a 1910 coin witha 3D bust of Teddy Rosevelt. I'll see if I can find that thread.

Its a lot easier if you pick out and ask what you wanna know. Most dont have time to list everything you have in there.Your snake item is the center piece to a buckle...very cool piece!

Yours doesnt necesarilly have anything to do wth the Union,or Confederacy, they were used pre C.W. and were imported from England

No they are absolutely not hobo art. They are identified in the link posted by Bryan 2 posts above your reply.

I agree with kuger. Post one item at a time.

Thanks for narrowing things down for me kuger, didn't mean to overload you and Bigcypresshunter now!
Looks like taz420 nailed it for the repousse and snake belt hook. 2 out of 3.
The only other item I posted in question was the token.
Guess I'll throw the token up by its self on the next post.

Thanks for the advice guys!

Those are called repousse coins. The process was patented in 1904. The snake is a belt hook.

Thanks taz42o, neat little coins I think.

I appreciate your help.
