A few unknown items from todays hunt

Here are a few items that I found this morning...I have been racking my brain at the first 2 Items...The Last 3 are buckles and a button..On those 3 I was looking to see if anyone could put somewhat of a date as to when they are from. Thanks guys....Oh and the first item is the same on both sides...

does that say GOP on the elephant as in grand old party as in republican

could the item under the watch fob be a Victorian era picture hanger? The third item initally looked like a buckle, but upon looking closer, it reminds me of the inner workings of an old music box. Neat old stuff! Hope this helps!

That last item is definitely a watch fob. I have a similar one that one of my relatives got in the late 20s. Mine has all Egyptian symbols on it though. The style was very popular and many of these were made with an Egytian motif right after King Tut's tomb was discovered. Anything Egyptian was a hot seller at that time. That's an awesome find! It's a pretty valuable collectible too.
