✅ SOLVED A few things in the same area.

They are parts to a ski pole- basket, top, and tip. Looks like older military ones used up until the 1980's, although they could be much older as the design stayed the same for ever.

Okay my guess is that it is a 30-30 for a Winchester Model 1894 but the date of the shell cannot be determined if you break open the shell you can check the type of powder it will be either be black powder or smokeless this will let you know what era the shell was made

If there was any oldtime logging in the area it would explain the ox knob. If you can give us a picture of the primer end of the shell it would help a bunch.

What are being described as ox knobs may be horse hame tips.
Ox knobs often threaded ,short and open both ends.

THE KNOB GOES TO THE TOP OF A HORSE HANES .THAT IS PART OF AN OLD HORSE COLLAR.
