Hit some construction site dirt piles and picked up a Clay marble, a Merc and a Washington quarter.
Then went to a 1860’s homesite permission that I regained access to.
I had only hit this place a few times, and didn’t expect much, because it never was very productive.
Was really thinking about giving up, but decided to keep going, and right before dark I dug a nice 1876-CC seated dime.

1876-CC. The belle of the ball.

Nice Job! I love the seated!

Sweet work as usual bonepicker !! Congrats.

Nice seated! Congrats! :icon_thumleft: A seated is on my list to find this year.

Nice work!!! 🙌 CC is still on my list. My Mentor had dug an 1873 CC just a month before I met him. Not the super rare version, but...he did turn down $8k for his. Yours looks great! 😁

thanks buddy. Haven’t seen you post any spanish silver lately. Hope all is well.

All is well my friend........3 hunts=3 cobbs, late October 201820181028_180715.jpg plus some other goodies.

Nice hunt, that CC has some great details, have never found a clay marble here. Congrats on all the saves

dang ogre, 8 k would be unreal. Unfortunately the 1876 isn’t a key date, but any cc is rare for south Mississippi.

very nice finds bart, I especially like the shape and details of that cob at the far left. Is that bottom right object a bead or a ring, hard to tell. Figured u had been finding something good. Been over a year now since my last cob. Really hoping for another one soon.

Some beautiful coins . :icon_thumright:
