It was raining here today and I wasn't able to get out. I still felt like posting something. Here are a few pictures of my best "clad day". In about 4 hours at a schoolyard that I used to play on when I was a kid I found the following.......23 Quarters.....50 dimes.....24 nickels (oldest 1940, 1962, and three 1964's) 21 memorial pennies....3 wheaties '42, '44, '53D....2 rings (one silver and one appears to be brass).... 1 silver earring.....1 gold locket. I set records this day for dimes, nickels, total coins, and overall $$ total. ($12.19). I have no idea what the silver colored knife like objects are. They were all laying on top of the ground so I picked them up so a kid wouldn't find them and get hurt.

A good day in a school yard for sure!

You needed to get out early today to do some swingin' around these parts.

I got a quick hunt in this morning, my three month anniversary in the hobby was today ;)

I was lucky enough to hit a record for myself... I found my 500th coin today!

A beat up IH, still working on a date though...

Congrats on your records,

I actually did get up early today. I was up at 6 AM. It was raining on my van down by the river so I scrapped the whole idea. Congrats on your 500th.

Congratulations.
The blades look like blades to a retractable
kung fu throwing star.....Don't ask. LOL

Thanx man!

You should have gotten up later then, lol.

I rolled out around 7:30am... and packed it in around 1pm, hunted in Columbia County.

All this rain should make signals I missed at my current sites sing nicely this week!

HH,

The blades look like they are from scissors.

I had a ring I thought was brass but it was gold and was not any markings at all. I took it to a jeweler and had it test. It was gold.
