Here are a few of my finds from the last couple weeks. Not too bad-

100_3413.jpg
Sterling bracelet, Arts & Crafts era marked "Sterling By Le Gro"
It was on the $1.00 table at an estate sale.

100_3418.jpg
1971 Owen Corning Fiberglass Lucite Display
Apollo 15 with Beta patch and Lunar roving vehicle.
It was purchased from an estate sale with a few other
items price averaged out less than $4.

100_3424.jpg
A vintage LUXMAN R- 1050 receiver and cassette with Rosewood veneer.
Purchased at a yard sale for $20.
They match but the angle of the camera makes it look like the cassette is a different color.
The receiver (where the money is!) is in near mint condition and works great. Cassette works too.

A Sharp Worldwide Receiver model no. FY- 409U in perfect shape.
Purchased at a yard sale for $5.

Diggum,

Great stuff, real nice pics and description. Helps get me through the winter up here. Its been miserable! Keep posting your finds, they're great. Will be keeping an eye out for the old electronics. Bummer a couple years back we threw away all the electronics my dad bought while on duty in Vietnam. All wood cased; reel-to-reel, receiver, turn-table, giant speakers, added cassette tape and 8 track in early 1980's. Bummer, now I know. Least I still have my 80's boom-box :)
Did pick-up a couple small hand-held (transistor?) radios over the summer, that I may have to steal back from the kids and investigate.

Thanks for the added info. Cracker.

Seano, glad I can help you out through the winter. I'm sure i'll have more to post this weekend. I have a small list of addresses already started for the weekend sales. I got the day off tommorrow so I think i'm gonna go detecting since garage sale-ing seems to be taking up my Saturday mornings lately.

UPDATE...
Ebay sales-
Sold the Apollo Lucite for $189.36
Sold the receiver for $173.50
Sold the radio for $27.00

I kept the sterling cuff bracelet for now. I'm waiting for silver to hit $50 an oz.! LOL
