A few of my finds

[SKIDMLD]

Here are my best finds for the last couple of weeks. The half is 1943 the quarter is 1893 the dime is 1942 the oldest penny is 1936. Today I found 2 dimes. A 1950 and a 1953, and a1955 D penny. Dug a lot of clad coins.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Believe me It's been a long time since I've found silver. I just happened to find a good area. It's in an old part of town right next to the sidewalk. These sidewalks were put down before they started putting metal rebar in them so they don't interfer with my detector. I pulled one cheap ring out of there.
It's been a long time since I've found any gold. I've never found a gold coin but i have found a few gold rings. Maybe I'll get lucky. Keep your're fingers crossed

Just out of curiosity I looked up that badge. "Nec Aspera Terrent" is latin for ..nor do calamities deter.. That is the motto of the South Australian 3/9 SAMR regiment. Isn't that a long way from home!
