Seems like people outside of Texas and Oklahoma don't get the meaning behind it.

I actually wore it thru Nashville on my way to Norfolk, Virginia back in December of 2010.

I got some dirty looks, to say the least. I'm sure the Texas plates on my truck didn't help either.

The majority of folks don't know what Texas Country / Red Dirt music is... And that's fine by me.

Two of my National Match Springfield M1A's.

Just finished making a custom walnut handguard for the first one, and the second one got a new op-rod, along with a new glass bedding job.

Third picture is a holster I finished a few days back for my modified G23.

For the record, I hate Glocks.
Except this one. Haha!

I live about 130 miles south east of Nashville and I hate Nashville Music too. I lived in South Texas in the early 70's and saw the whole thing happen down there. I was too young to get in The Armadillo World Headquarters but we would scale the fence of the beer garden and sneak in. I was 16. Last time I was down there , I saw Jack Ingram at Green Hall on Friday night , drove on out to Luckenbach on Saturday to hear a bunch of em including Ray Wylie Hubbard ( WHICH i KNOW ) , James McMurtry among others. I dont like the heat down in there but love that music.
